(Phoenix, Arizona) – Last month, defendant Julian Anthony Perry (07/97) pleaded guilty to nine felony charges. Included in his guilty pleas are: four first degree murders, class one felony charges; three armed robberies with a deadly weapon, class two felony charges; and two conspiracy to commit armed robbery, class two felony charges. Last week, a Maricopa County judge sentenced Perry to four life in prison sentences with no possibility of release until 75 years served, with the sentences to be served in the Arizona Department of Corrections.
The four first degree murder sentences stem from three separate homicide incidents between 2017 and 2018 throughout the West Valley and Central Phoenix. Perry lured his victims with the premise of buying drugs and then robbed and killed them.
“These violent crimes changed the lives of numerous families forever. Ensuring that this dangerous individual is removed from society will make our community a safer place,” said County Attorney Rachel Mitchell.
