Our office prosecutes criminal cases that have been submitted by law enforcement after they’ve completed their investigation.
Prosecutors—or Deputy County Attorneys—truly serve the community. They seek to ensure justice is achieved for victims and defendants and are a crucial component to public safety. That means treating each case individually on its own merits. Our office seeks dedicated individuals to prosecute felony cases and protect the public from crime.
We employ approximately 300 Deputy County Attorneys who practice many areas of the law, including:

The Maricopa County Attorney’s Office provides new attorneys with a comprehensive training program to prepare them for a career in law. Using an approach that pairs new attorneys with mentors, new attorneys receive hands-on experience as they receive immediate courtroom experience.
