The Maricopa County Attorney’s Office is working closely with our partners in the criminal justice system to ensure the safety of this community. Employees with the MCAO who have the ability to from home and those who are in high-risk populations are teleworking to do our part to slow the spread of this virus.
The Judicial Branch of Arizona, the Clerk of the Court, the Office of the Public Defender and this office are working together to ensure we are adhering to public health recommendations, while also ensuring the rights of defendants and victims are protected.
We will continue to monitor the situation and appreciate the hard work of our staff during these uncertain times.
