County Attorney Statement on Mosque Burglary Case

“To assert that this case is being handled in an unusual or unprofessional manner is irresponsible, at best.

I was involved in the case of the juveniles who vandalized a menorah, and facilitated their restitution and apology to the victims. I was directly involved in the Shanesha Taylor case and have been in several others, including directly discussing a potential resolution in the Jodi Arias case.

It is office policy that I am apprised of potential offers in most high profile matters.

In regards to this incident, I held a community meeting with the mosque shortly after the incident to foster communication and understanding with their membership and leaders.

The victims in this case have been involved from the beginning and any resolution will involve their full input and participation. Plea agreements reached by this office involve the input of victims.

The SPLC has been radicalized, paid out millions for mischaracterization, and has millions hidden in offshore accounts. They should not be cited by any self-respecting media outlet.”
