Donald Linville Sentenced to 121 Years for Secretly Recording Sexual Encounters with Women

PHOENIX— Today Donald Linville (D.O.B. 08/07/1989) was sentenced to 121.25 years in the Department of Corrections for two counts of surreptitious videotaping, one count of sexual conduct with a minor and 11 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.

“There are more than a dozen victims in this case consisting of women who were violated by someone they trusted and young children whose degree of victimization may never truly be known. This sentence is a clear demonstration of our commitment to hold the defendant accountable for all of his victims,” said Maricopa County Attorney Bill Montgomery. “Arizona has some of the strongest penalties in the country against possessors of child pornography and my Office will not hesitate to see to it that defendants face the full weight of justice,” he added.

In 2012, a police investigation began after a woman found a hidden camera outside of her apartment. Investigators were able to determine that Linville, who also lived at the same complex, had placed the camera on the woman’s porch. Through search warrants and further investigation, detectives were able to identify three female victims Linville recorded without their knowledge while he was engaged in sex acts with them. Two of the women were adults, while a third victim was only 15-years-old. Investigators also found 10 other downloaded child pornography videos on Linville’s computer.

On April 9, 2017 a jury found Linville guilty on all 14 counts in this case.
