PHOENIX— On December 15, 2016 former police officer Jeffery Streeter (D.O.B. 10/07/1970) pled guilty to a total of six counts of voyeurism, each a Class 5 Felony. He was sentenced today to three years in the Department of Corrections, with a term of lifetime probation upon release and a mandatory sex offender registration.
In October of 2014, a female victim reported to police that a man had tried to record her at a tanning salon. Investigators were able to identify the suspect as Jeffery Streeter, who also was a customer at the salon. A search warrant led investigators to videos of more than 20 victims recorded by Streeter--all without their permission.
“This defendant was a sworn officer of the law when he committed these crimes, which makes the facts of this case especially troubling. It was imperative that he held accountable for the suffering he caused numerous victims,” said Maricopa County Attorney Bill Montgomery.
