HOW TO PREVENT AUTO THEFT

  • Always park in a well-lit area.
  • Lock your car doors and roll up the windows.
  • Keep important documentation locked inside the glove box
  • Don't leave valuables inside your car. Or at least put them in the trunk or other place...out of sight.
  • Keep car stereo equipment hidden.
  • Don’t keep spare keys in your car.
  • Never leave your car running unattended.
  • Don’t use window decals to advertise expensive stereo equipment, after-market performance items or other expensive modifications to your car .
  • Consider subscribing to a tracking service in case your car is stolen.
  • Invest in an anti-theft alarm system or device.
